
Every type of movement/skill is a memory. The more you perform the movement/skill, the more it is engrained into your brain. Running, jumping, skipping, bounding and hopping are just a few of the many movement patterns involved in sports. Poor movement patterns are developed at an early age and can be associated with inactivity, poor physical education programs, inappropriate team practices, and extensive television viewing and video games.
