The Baseball College Development Program is for high school age baseball players who have chosen to specialize in baseball and have the goal of playing baseball in college. The program combines AB’s baseball skill development with AB’s Strength & Conditioning Programs as well as nutrition and college selection programs. Players receive a recruiting video with this program that is updated as skills improve. This program is a year-round commitment to player development.
All athletes in this program will go through a pre-screening process before beginning their strength & conditioning programs so customized, individual programs can be written for the players. The athletes will also complete evaluations for their baseball-specific skills of hitting, throwing and fielding.
Players in this program must be serious about playing baseball at the next level. In baseball, the junior season is the primary recruiting season, but the summer after the sophomore season can also be important for top flight Division I programs. (These schools recruit sophomores and seek verbal commitments from top recruits so other schools can’t also recruit them.) Players need to be ready to attend showcase tournaments during the summer leading into their sophomore and junior years.
